About
About me
I'm Usama Al Darwashi, a Senior Software Engineer based in Muscat, Oman. Over the past six years, I've designed and built scalable, data-intensive web platforms—from telecom analytics for national regulators and IoT systems managing over 300,000 connected devices to SaaS products and AI-powered recruitment platforms. I enjoy solving complex engineering problems across the full stack, with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI, .NET, React, Angular, and modern cloud technologies. I'm passionate about building software that's not only performant and maintainable, but also delivers real value to the people who use it. As a Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, I also enjoy designing reliable, scalable cloud-native solutions. Away from the keyboard, you'll usually find me with a chessboard, on a football pitch, or immersed in a good novel.
